Prajan
This is Prajan. He is 11 years old and in the 6th grade. He is an excellent student who says his favorite subjects are social studies and english right now. He says he would like to be a doctor when he grows up. Like many kids his age, he likes playing mobile games and watching tv when not in school. Prajan with his parents. Prajan has been diagnosed with severe hemophilia B. He has missed 15 days of school due to bleeds in the past year. His local hemophilia society has taught him self-infusion and helps him get factor and services he needs. However, the trip to the nearest hospital is a 10 kilometer bus ride. He has most recently been treated there for bleeds in his shoulder, knee and ankle. He is in need of physical therapy. Prajan outside his home with his mother and older brother. He lives at home with his grandparents, parents and brother (15). His grandfather is a farmer and his father work for the Nepal Police. Prajan recently lost his sponsor and is looking for a new one to help him continue his studies.
