Muhammed Aslam

This is Muhammed Aslan. He is 7 years old and he lives in India. He has severe hemophilia A. Muhammed is in the 1st grade and he is making very good progress at school. He likes all of his subjects at school. He would like to be a policeman when he grows up. In the past six months, he has had to travel to the nearest hospital for treatment of bleeds in his knee. The hospital is 60 kilometers from his home and the trip takes 2 hours by bus. It is very costly for his family. Muhammed lives in a small house with his parents, his grandparents, and his 5-year-old brother. Muhammeds father is a plumber and his grandfather is a fisherman.
