Adrasha

Hello! My name is Adrasha.I am 16 years old and I in the 10th grade. Science and English are my favorite subjects. I am a diligent student and am making very good progress with my academics. I would like to work as a pharmacist one day. When I am not in school, I like to read and watch some television. I have been diagnosed with severe hemophilia B. Thankfully, the hemophilia treatment center that I receive my medical care at is only 1 kilometer from my home. I am able to access factor infusions and physiotherapy. I live in a village in Nepal with my parents, grandfather and younger brother. My father earns $190 a month working as a shopkeeper. My mother cares for our home. Sadly, my grandmother passed away this year. This loss has been hard on our family. My family lives in a small house that is made of concrete, wood, tin and palm. Our home is in generally good condition. We have a refrigerator and indoor plumbing. Our meals are cooked over a gas burner.
