Bibek

This is Bibek. He is 20 years old and lives in Nepal. He is currently enrolled in a vocational program for management, where his favorite subjects are English and Nepali language classes. When he finishes school, he would like to work at a bank. Outside of class, he likes to sing, read, and watch TV. Bibek has severe hemophilia A. In the past six months, he has had bleeds in his shoulder, elbow, thigh, knee, and ankle. Several of these bleeds required hospital treatment, and he has missed about 40 days worth of school as a result. The hospital is about a two hour bus ride from his home, so transportation can be lengthy. Bibek is in need of physiotherapy to promote joint health, but he is not receiving it at this time. He lives with his parents and his older sister. His father works as a farmer and makes $180 a month. Your sponsorship funds would help to pay for Bibeks schooling and treatment.
