Ahmad Muhammad

This is Ahmad. He is 20 years old and in the 12th grade. He is an excellent student. He is 2nd or 3rd in his class of 25 students. He wishes to study medicine after he completes secondary school. Ahmad has severe hemophilia A. This past year he was admitted to the hospital when he experienced both vomiting and stooling of blood. He spent 7 days in the hospital. He lives with his parents, his sister, and three brothers. His 16-year-old brother, Ahmad, also has hemophilia. His mother's younger sister also lives with the family. His father is a business man, a satelite engineer. His income is not consistent. His annual income is about $500. The family lives in a three room home in their village. Though the house is incomplete due to lack of funds, there is running water, an indoor kitchen, and an indoor bathroom. Sponsorship funds will support Ahmad's education and medical care.
