Jumar Kevin

Hello! My name is Jumar. I am 23 years old and have severe hemophilia A. I had frequent bleeds in my knee in the past and now it does not have a full range of motion. As a result, walking is difficult for me, so I cannot attend school or work. I live at home with my grandmother and my older sister. My father, Alfredo, works overseas and sends money home to support us. We live off of about $80 a month. My family speaks our native languages, Cebuano and Visayan. I am also able to read and write in English. My family owns a small home that is in decent condition but could use some repairs to the kitchen and roof. Our home is made of wood and has running water, electricity and toilet facilities inside the home. We do not have a refrigerator. Food is cooked over a wood or charcoal fire. I have been part of the sponsorship program since 2014. My previous sponsor recently discontinued their participation in the program and I am now in need of a new sponsor.
