SPONSORSHIP

Children and young adults can have a bright future with the help of warm-hearted sponsors.

Sponsor A Child

OVERVIEW

WITH ACCESS,
THERE IS OPPORTUNITY

Every life matters. And while helping one person might not change the whole world, it could change the world for one person. We create a better world by coming together to save one life at a time by providing access to the resources the bleeding community needs to thrive. By helping one child, we are one step closer to changing the world.

HOW IT WORKS

1

Program Partner

Program Partners identify children to be part of the sponsorship program and work with the families while in the program. They are invaluable.

2

Save One Life

Once a child is referred to the sponsorship program, Save One Life coordinates all logistics of the program.

3

Sponsors

Our sponsors are the heart of our organization. Their generosity and support is immeasurable.

SPONSORSHIP

A sponsorship is only $35 per month and helps families buy food, medicine, treatment, transportation, and education.

Your sponsorship of one of these children or young adults this year will make a huge difference.

COMMUNITY FUND

Our community fund contributions provide young people and their families with the finances needed to purchase necessities when they don’t have a sponsor.

You can still improve the lives of children in developing countries without a monthly contribution.

“I am happy to inform you that I am doing very well with my Ola/Uber business. The company promises drivers will earn about $50 a day, but sometimes I earn more when I drive ten or eleven hours. I drive friends and family, too, who often pay more than the Ola rate. I am successfully paying the loans on my family’s house and  my car, and supporting my parents and brother. My parents have started searching for a wife for me! I am so very thankful that you trusted me and gave me a chance to prove myself. My happiness goes beyond words.”

Ashutosh, India

“I was one of the fortunate persons who received help from Save One Life, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this. Special thanks also from my parents. Today I am professionally well equipped to support my family. Currently I am working with India’s leading private bank as a sales manager in a loan department. I am very happy now in both my personal and professional life. Please continue to provide such help to other deserving hemophilic patients, where it can make a difference in their lives. I urge you to sponsor more patients in the future.”

Yatish Pathali, India

“I would like to extend my deepest gratitude for your scholarship support. I paid my tuition fee and bought school books. The way you help us with scholarships is immense! I promise that your investment will someday help me achieve a quality, independent life.”

Ashrit B.K., Nepal

“I would like to thank you very much for the micro-enterprise grant.  I combined my micro-enterprise grant with my own earnings to buy an electric keyboard that will allow me to make a living performing music. As a patient, I know how special it is to be supported by someone, in any way! It’s a big step ahead. It’s always an act of kindness which helps a lot.”

Razvan Barburo, Romania

“I really want to say thank you so much for your help. My parents were struggling to find money to provide my financial needs for my college and they told me once that if we can’t have enough money for next semester, I’ll have to stop. I didn’t want to stop and God answered my prayer. I promise to do my best and to finish my marketing studies so that someday I can help others also.”

Anjeanette Lapad, Philippines

“I am writing to thank you for your generous scholarship. Three years ago I had a dream to become a nurse. Without your help I would never have succeeded. Today I have a good job with a reasonable salary. Your generosity has inspired me to help others. I hope one day I will be able to help people with hemophiiia achieve their goals just as you have helped me.”

Azeez M., India

Without the Save One Life sponsorship, I may not have been able to complete my education.
I wanted to thank you for your generosity and for making it possible for people with disorders like me around the world to pursue their dreams. You are changing lives!
Please continue to provide such help to other deserving hemophilic patients, where it can make a difference in their lives.
Thank you so much.

Sponsorship FAQ’S

The graduation age for the sponsorship program is 25 years old. Save One Life works closely with our Program Partners during the graduation process. The goal is for beneficiaries to attain stable incomes before they graduate from the program, whether it is through the assistance of an educational scholarship or grant to start a small business.

Yes! Save One Life sends sponsorship money to our program partners who ensure money is given directly to the child you sponsor. Save One Life retains $2 per month to help operate the program and our program partners can also retain up to $3 per month to help with administrative expenses. The rest goes directly to your beneficiary!

Save One Life will forward your communications to the program partner, who will get it to your child. Communication can often be delayed due to language barriers and the capacity of our partner organization. Please do not attempt to contact your beneficiary directly. For the protection of you and the beneficiary, all communication should be facilitated through Save One Life. Save One Life cannot share your child’s contact information.

You will receive one update on your child per year. This update can be found in your portal. Annual updates are prepared by our program partners who are almost all volunteers and whose preferred language is not English.

We work closely with each of our program partners during the enrollment process. They speak with families and send the enrollment forms to the Save One Life office. We encourage that patients with the greatest economic need be enrolled in our programs. Families earn less than $300 per month to qualify for our program.

Yes. You may make an additional donation as a gift to your child. Please contact us for additional information.
